The Exhibition

The exhibition will feature a selection of more than 90 photographs (black & white and color) and a short film made by Corneille Jest between 1960 and 1975.
It will be divided into two parts, focusing on two regions of Nepal that Corneille Jest documented extensively between 1960 and 1975. These are the Kathmandu Valley and the Dolpo region. The selection of photographs will highlight several themes from his documentary work, such as daily life, religious activities, craft techniques, architecture, cityscapes and landscapes.
