Jest 1960-61

Corneille JEST carried out his first field research in Nepal, between August 1960 and October 1961, in the Kathmandu valley and Dolpo (mainly Tarap). This documentation of more than 4,000 photographs, many of them previously unpublished, particularly for Dolpo, is of major interest for scientific research and provides an exceptional visual record of the environment and daily life of its inhabitants.
